Set concurrency, buffering, compression, and retry limits from the real size and arrival distribution. Backlog age and drain rate show whether a peak is being absorbed or an SLA is already at risk.

Close a window with evidence

Expected sources, sequence ranges, counts, business time, and late-arrival tolerance define completeness. Flower can reconcile the window and alert on a gap instead of declaring success because the last file transferred.

Recover at the owning boundary

An internal database, roaming-partner SFTP site, and cloud bucket need different retry and escalation rules. Keep the original endpoint, transfer evidence, quarantine state, and responsible team attached to the failed unit.
